Nothing Exists-On The Road With Copernicus

6/17/1989

Legendary philosopher, poet, spoken-word performing artist Copernicus looks back at life on the road, from his early beginning in New Yorks East Village Open-Mike poetry slam circuit, to touring Eastern Europe with a rock band. Copernicus has many experiences to share from his tours, including performing for over nine thousand people in a stadium in Prague, as watching communist regimes collapse in countries they performed. Interview and camera: Fernando Natalici. Editor: Adnor Pitanga

Copernicus Live in Prague - 1989

6/17/1989

This is a 4 minutes promotional edit of the full length dvd which features the entire 70:25 concert, a must for any Copernicus connoisseur. Along with a great band (Larry Kirwin, Mike Fazio, Thomas Hamlin and Dave Conrad), Copernicus had the audience on their toes and screa-ming for more with pieces like "The authorities", "White from Black", Nagasaki" and "They Own Every-thing" and others, from his vast oeuvre of past albums, most of them these days released by the Moonjune label. This concert documents Copernicus' departure from large bands, concerts and tours. He now tours solo with a keyboard, a backup cd and the same creative energy that made him the dark prince of downtown poetry/performance circles.

Copernicus - I Won't Hurt You

6/1/1985

Copernicus' first video-music, from the album "Nothing Exists" with Larry Kirwin and Pierce Turner from the group Major Thinkers., one can clearly feel Copernicus is searching for answers and seeking new levels of understanding of the sub-atomic levels of consciousness.
